The new Olympiacos Museum is ready to guide you on a uniquely emotional “red-and-white” journey, and the Piraeus-based club has issued an announcement with details about this great endeavor. Olympiacos FC released an announcement presenting all the areas that will be included in the museum, while also releasing the first images, just one day after the impressive unveiling of the home jersey for the new season.
The announcement from the club:
“Olympiacos FC, with great joy and pride, announces the opening of its new state-of-the-art museum at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium. The creation of the club’s new museum is an initiative of our president, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, and marks the culmination and completion of the grand celebrations that have taken place this year in Piraeus and across all of Greece for the 100 years of Olympiacos’ glorious and legendary history. For this reason, and as a gesture of appreciation for the fans’ love, entrance will be free for the month of August, with doors opening to the public on Monday, August 4th.
In collaboration with the internationally renowned company Mediapro Exhibitions, which has created some of the biggest football—and not only—museums in the world, Olympiacos has completed a work of art, a landmark for Piraeus, the city where the club was born. A museum that constitutes the Ark of the Legend, through which all generations will be able to feel what Olympiacos means and the values upheld by the greatest multi-sport Club in the world throughout the years.

In the new Olympiacos Museum, one can explore the history of Piraeus and our team, encounter unique exhibits, witness the evolution of the red-and-white jersey over time, “meet” once again the legends of the Club who left their mark on our triumphs, and admire the Club’s trophies in a lineup that inspires awe. The team’s supporters, every fan, every visitor, will have the opportunity to relive the Legend’s great victories in Greece and Europe, get to know the coach and players better through interactive quizzes, and be virtually guided through the training center in Rentis and the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium via specially designed cutting-edge audiovisual applications.
The Gate 7 Tragedy will never be forgotten, and the memory of the 21 unjustly lost lives in February 1981 will remain forever alive through the new museum.
Our charitable actions and the social solidarity that Olympiacos stands for also leave their mark in the museum and in the hearts of visitors.
The conquest of the UEFA Europa Conference League and the UEFA Youth League “comes alive” in a specially designed space, and the historic trophies will forever be there, in a place of honor, so that the older generations remember and the younger ones learn how the crazy dream became… reality!
A museum for the entire red-and-white family of Olympiacos, with special mention of the great title victories by the amateur and basketball divisions in Greece and Europe.
The journey through the new, legendary Olympiacos FC Museum will be a unique experience for young and old alike, who will have the opportunity to remember and learn the history of Olympiacos and be entertained through state-of-the-art technological equipment with three-dimensional holograms and interactive games for all ages!
Young and old will be able to experience the unique thrill offered by the “Robokeeper” installation, testing their scoring skills, while, through cutting-edge photobooths, they will have the chance to capture their own red-and-white photos!
The new Museum of the Legend, beyond excitement and admiration, will stir chills and emotion in those who visit it.
We look forward to welcoming you all to celebrate and honor once again the 100 years of our great love!”
