One of Ferrari’s most iconic international events is expected to attract supercar enthusiasts to Greece this summer, as the glamorous “Ferrari Cavalcade” will roll through the country between June 29 and July 6.
A handful of destinations in the east Mediterranean country will be included among the many stops of the luxury “convoy” this summer.
This year’s route includes Ferrari vehicles passing through Italy to reach Venice, then on to Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro. According to reports, the convoy of Ferraris in Greece will head to a handful of Cyclades islands and Athens, while the southern harbor town of Nafplio is also expected to serve as an intermediate stop.
The so-called “red invasion” of luxury supercars acts as a fillip for local tourism and selected destinations.
