The weather is set to turn unsettled on Saturday across Greece, with showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY). However, from Tuesday, temperatures are expected to climb again, reaching unusually high levels for the season.
Saturday will begin with mostly clear skies nationwide, but from midday clouds will build over the northern Ionian, gradually spreading to Epirus and western Macedonia. Rain and scattered thunderstorms are expected, with the risk of locally intense storms in Corfu, Paxoi, and parts of Epirus by late afternoon.
Winds will blow mainly from the south at 3–5 Beaufort, strengthening to 6 in the northern Ionian later in the day. In the Dodecanese, winds will shift northwesterly at 3–5 Beaufort.
Temperatures will hold steady, peaking at 33–35°C on the mainland, up to 36°C in eastern regions, and around 30–32°C on the islands.

Mostly clear, with clouds and possible showers or storms in western Macedonia after midday.

From midday, clouds in the northern Ionian and gradually in Epirus will bring rain and scattered storms. Some may be strong in Corfu, Paxoi, and Epirus during the afternoon.
• Winds: Southerly 4–5 Beaufort in the northern Ionian, increasing to 6; southwesterly 3–4 elsewhere.
• Temperatures: 19–33°C, a few degrees cooler in Epirus and the Ionian.
Thessaly, Central & Eastern Sterea, Euboea, Eastern Peloponnese
Mostly clear, though clouds may develop over western Thessaly by evening, with a chance of light showers.
• Winds: Southwesterly 3–4 Beaufort, southerly to southeasterly 4–5 Beaufort in eastern areas.
• Temperatures: 18–36°C.

Fair weather.
