Popular holiday destination Santorini leaves behind summer and enters into its still very warm and inviting autumn period with a new festival on its events calendar. The first Brewing Rock Festival, scheduled for Sept. 26 and 27, aims to transform the Ftelos Brewery on the volcanic isle into an open concert venue, replete with music, beer, new flavors, and activities for the young and young at heart.
A series of musical acts, mainly rock bands, are scheduled to appear on the first day, followed by standup comedy routines on the second.
The two-day event is billed as combining music with flavors and experiences that showcase the renowned holiday island beyond the tourist peak of summer, and instead an “autumn rendezvous” with panoramic views, stout beers and live music.
