Citi Greece Named Best Investment Bank in Greece

This marks the fifth time in the past decade that Citi Greece has received the Best Investment Bank distinction in Greece.

Citi Greece has been named Best Investment Bank in Greece by Euromoney magazine for 2025, while also receiving the award for Best Investment Bank for Debt Capital Markets (DCM), the bank announced on Monday.

This marks the fifth time in the past decade that Citi has received the Best Investment Bank distinction in Greece, highlighting what the bank described as long-standing trust from the Greek business community and its strong presence in the local market, where it has operated continuously for more than 60 years.

Building Long-Term Relationships

Emilios Kyriacou, CEO of Citi and Head of Corporate Banking for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta, said the recognition underscores the role of Citi Greece as a strategic partner for businesses with cross-border ambitions.

“Staying true to Citi’s vision of being the primary banking partner for organizations with international needs and aspirations, we have built strong, long-term relationships of trust with our clients in Greece,” Kyriacou said.

“The fifth Euromoney award in ten years is not just an achievement—it is proof of our leadership in the Greek market and our consistency in delivering top-tier services. It reflects our investment banking team’s ability to provide innovative solutions and strategic guidance to help our clients turn ambitious plans into reality,” he added.
