Greek DM Dendias Engages U.S. Counterparts on Strategic Ties

Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias, currently on an official visit to the United States, is scheduled to meet today, Tuesday, February 3, with U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. The meeting will take place at the U.S. Department of the Army in Washington, D.C., at 1:45 p.m. local time.

Following this, the Greek minister of defense will hold discussions with U.S. Under Secretary of the Army for Defense Policy, Elbridge A. Colby.

During his visit, Dendias highlighted Greece’s strategic role in the Eastern Mediterranean during a roundtable discussion at the “Delphi Economic Forum Washington D.C. VII.”

In a post on social media platform X, the Greek minister also noted that, on the sidelines of the Delphi Forum, he met with Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee.
