Ruling New Democracy recorded an upward trend in voter intention, according to the latest poll by MRB for the Greek TV channel OPEN.

The Conservative Party leads with 22.7%, marking a 2.3-point increase from the previous survey. Surprisingly. The Course of Freedom (Plefsi Eletherias) came in second at 11.9%, followed by PASOK at 10.1%, Hellenic Solution at 8.2%, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) at 6.5%, SYRIZA at 4.2%, NIKI at 2.7%, the Democracy Movement at 2.7%, MeRA25 at 2.7%, Voice of Reason at 2%, and the New Left at 1.1%. Undecided voters make up 23.5%.

When extrapolated for valid votes, New Democracy rises to 29.7%, showing a 2.8-point increase. Course of Freedom follows with 15.6%, PASOK at 13.2%, Hellenic Solution at 10.7%, KKE at 8.5%, SYRIZA at 5.5%, NIKI at 3.5%, the Democracy Movement at 3.5%, MeRA25 also at 3.5%, Voice of Reason at 2.6%, and the New Left at 1.4%.

Queried about the most suitable candidate for Prime Minister, 23.4% of the respondents chose incumbent premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis, 11.2% chose Course of Freedom leader Zoe Konstantopoulou, 6.7% chose Kyriakos Velopoulos, 5.4% chose Nikos Androulakis, and 2.6% Dimitris Koutsoumbas.

Respondents ranked the high cost of living by far as the most pressing issue at 48.6% – it steadily ranks as the most serious matter across all surveys, followed by healthcare (24.8%), income (22.6%), justice and rule of law (17.6%), economic development (15.1%), crime (13.9%), and, housing/rent rates (10.6%)
