3rd Greek Craft Beer Festival Returns with Plenty of Locally Made Brews

Greek brewers bring their best beers to Athens’ Only Craft festival on March 27–29, plus plenty of food, music, and dancing.

Beer lovers will have the chance to sample dozens of craft beers made in Greece during the 3rd Greek Beer Festival – Only Craft to take place on March 27-29 at the Old Depot OSY (aka Amaxostasio) in Gazi, central Athens.

For the third year in a row, the popular three-day event brings together craft brewers from around the country, who will showcase Greek-made beers and the diversity of the local brewing scene.

Beyond the brews, visitors can enjoy great street food and an electrifying program of live music. This year’s line-up includes popular Greek band Locomondo on Saturday, March 28, a lively Sunday, March 29 performance by Cretan lyre player Nikos Zoidakis, and a dynamic opening night on Friday, March 27 with Thrax Panks and their intoxicating mix of traditional Greek sounds and rhythms with punk and rock.

The annual festival is the only event in Greece dedicated exclusively to domestic microbreweries and the craft philosophy, celebrating quality and innovation in a laid-back atmosphere. Attendees will be able to taste craft beers made in Athens, Samos, Evia, Crete, Karpenisi, Corfu, Kalamata, Ikaria, Patra, Larissa, Messinia, Halkidiki, Serres, Thessaloniki, and Komotini, among others.
