Meanwhile, in Piraeus, the body of an elderly man was recovered floating near Gate 10 of the port earlier today.
According to initial reports, the deceased was an older male whose identity remains unknown as he was found without any personal identification or belongings.
The body was spotted by passersby who informed the authorities. The deceased was first transported to Tzaneio Hospital and is expected to be moved to the Piraeus Forensic Service for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
