Greek police have arrested 13 Turkish nationals in the Evros region near the northern town of Soufli, in a major weapons-related operation.
Officers from the Sub-Directorate for Organized Crime in Northern Greece conducted the arrests, discovering 147 pistols, 190 magazines, and numerous firearm parts in the suspects’ possession.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing, with further updates expected in the coming hours.
The operation highlights continued cross-border security efforts in northern Greece, a region that shares a border with Turkey.
