A 27-year-old man in Thessaloniki, Greece, who reported being the victim of a robbery, has been arrested after police discovered he had arranged a sexual meeting with a 14-year-old girl.
The incident began when the man claimed he was assaulted by a group of around 20 individuals in Polichni, Thessaloniki. According to his report, the assailants took his mobile phone and wallet, which contained cash, a debit card, and personal documents.
During the investigation, authorities found evidence that the man had met the 14-year-old at the scene for a sexual encounter. The investigation revealed prior contact between the two on a social media platform, despite the man knowing the girl’s age.
Police officers from the Crime Investigation team of the area, arrested the 27-year-old on charges of enticing a minor for sexual purposes.
