The body of a 25-year-old man from Brazil was found in a private hotel room’s pool on the upscale holiday island of Mykonos on Sunday, while another man, 23, was pulled from the water in critical condition. Other media reports give different ages.
The pair was discovered by housekeepers of the hotel, located at the Ornos site, with emergency first aid provided and first responders called to the scene.
According to initial press reports, authorities searched the room where the two Brazilian men were staying for the possibility of illegal substances.
An autopsy is pending on the body of the victim, while an investigation is continuing.
