Greece will see variable weather with intervals of cloud cover throughout the country on Friday. During the day, skies will gradually become cloudier from the west, bringing rain from the afternoon onwards — first over the Ionian Islands and later extending to western mainland Greece, Central Greece, and the Peloponnese. Localized thunderstorms are expected in the Ionian Islands and along western coastal areas. Across inland regions, visibility will be locally reduced overnight and in the early morning hours due to fog formation.
Temperatures will remain mild for the season. In western Macedonia, values will range from 1°C to 17°C, while in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace temperatures will vary between 4°C and 19–21°C. Thessaly will record 5°C to 20–22°C, Epirus 5°C to 18–20°C, and other mainland areas 7°C to 20–23°C. The Ionian Islands will see 11°C to 19–20°C, while the Aegean Islands and Crete will range between 7°C and 20–22°C, locally reaching up to 24°C in Crete and the Dodecanese.
Winds in the Aegean will generally be light and variable, reaching up to 4 Beaufort, with northwesterlies of similar strength around the Dodecanese. In the Ionian Sea, east-southeasterly winds will reach 4 Beaufort and locally 5 Beaufort at times.
In Athens, partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day. Overnight and early morning hours may bring reduced visibility due to fog. Winds will be light and variable at 2 to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures in the city center will range between 15°C and 21–22°C.
In Thessaloniki, a few clouds will prevail, with fog and reduced visibility possible overnight and early in the morning. Winds will remain light and variable at 2 to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures will range between 12°C and 19–20°C.
