Changing weather conditions are expected across Greece on Thursday, March 5, with rain and isolated thunderstorms mainly affecting northern regions. Temperatures will rise slightly across mainland areas, while winds over the seas will remain moderate. Reduced visibility is likely at times in western regions, and concentrations of African dust will remain relatively elevated.
Initially, the day will begin with relatively clear conditions, but clouds will gradually increase across northern, central, and eastern parts of the country. From midday onward, rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected in Macedonia, Thrace, and the islands of the northern Aegean.
During the afternoon and evening, scattered showers will also affect the Sporades, the eastern Aegean islands, parts of Evia, and possibly areas of eastern Central Greece. Visibility may be limited in western regions early in the morning and again late at night.

Athens (Attica Region)
Partly cloudy skies, with clouds increasing during the afternoon. A chance of light rain is possible late at night, mainly in northern parts of the region. Southerly winds at 2–3 Beaufort. Temperatures from 10 to 18–19°C.
Thessaloniki
A few clouds gradually becoming denser through the day. There is an increased chance of brief showers in the afternoon. Winds will be light and variable. Temperatures from 7 to 17°C.
