Thursday will bring another round of widespread unsettled weather across Greece, with rain and thunderstorms most prominent over the Ionian Sea, the western mainland, and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Elsewhere, expect intervals of cloud cover with the possibility of brief, light local showers. Elevated dust in the atmosphere may reduce visibility and create hazy conditions in several regions.
Temperatures will remain unusually warm for mid-November. Western Macedonia will range from 6°C to 18°C, while the rest of Macedonia and Thrace will see 11°C to 21°C. Thessaly will reach 9°C to 22°C, Epirus and western Central Greece 12°C to 21°C, and the rest of Central Greece 11°C to 22°C. The Peloponnese will experience 8°C to 23°C. The Ionian Islands will range from 17°C to 21°C, the northern and eastern Aegean islands from 14°C to 20°C, the Cyclades from 14°C to 21°C, the Dodecanese from 17°C to 23°C, and Crete from 10°C to 23°C.
Southerly winds will blow at 4–6 on the Beaufort scale across the seas, increasing to 5–7 Beaufort in the Ionian by the afternoon, which may affect maritime travel and coastal conditions.
In Athens, cloudy skies are expected with a chance of brief, light showers. Southerly winds will reach 2–4 Beaufort, and temperatures in the city center will range from 18°C to 21°C.
In Thessaloniki, cloud cover will dominate with the possibility of short, light local showers. Winds will blow from easterly to southeasterly directions up to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures in the city center will range from 15°C to 21°C.
