A shocking video emerged on Friday from the southern-most Greek city of Kalamata showing an adult Rottweiler viciously attacking a man before a responding police officer shot the animal dead.

The large-sized dog is shown biting the victim, a 76-year-old, and not letting up as it drags the man on the ground. The latter was later identified as the owner of the animal.
According to reports by Mega TV, a responding police officer fatally shot the canine once when he determined that the man’s life was in danger.
