Teen Falls Four Meters After Balcony Railing Collapses

A 14-year-old boy was taken to the Karamandaneio Hospital in Patras after falling approximately four meters when part of a balcony railing gave way in western Achaia, Greece.

The incident occurred near a tourist accommodation in the area, where the teenager was staying.

According to information from local news outlet tempo24.news, part of the railing suddenly collapsed under circumstances that have not yet been determined.

The collapse caused the teenager to lose his support and fall approximately four meters to the ground.

Teenager undergoes medical examinations

The 14-year-old was immediately transported to Karamandaneio Hospital, where he underwent a medical examination.

Despite the height of the fall, doctors’ initial assessment did not indicate a serious cause for concern, as he did not appear to have suffered a severe injury.

The teenager is expected to undergo the necessary additional examinations. If no problems are detected, he is expected to be discharged from the hospital.
