A group of four people is accused of carrying out a series of 16 thefts from supermarkets and a convenience store in western Thessaloniki over a 26-day period, according to Greek police.
Three of the four suspects were arrested, while a fourth remains wanted by authorities.
The suspects are two Greek nationals, aged 22 and 35, and a 33-year-old foreign national. The fourth suspect, a 42-year-old Greek national, is being sought by police.
16 thefts in 26 days
According to the Hellenic Police, the group operated between Aug. 1 and Aug. 26, using different combinations of members for each theft and traveling in a private vehicle.
The reported incidents took place in several areas of western Thessaloniki, including Kordelio, Evosmos, Stavroupoli, Neapoli, Pefka and Oraiokastro.
The group targeted 15 supermarkets and one convenience store, according to police.
The suspects stole products worth more than €4,000, along with €110 in cash.
Police also reported that the incidents caused property damage exceeding €16,000.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities search for the fourth suspect.
