Two Teenagers Stab Each Other After School Fight in Greece

A violent altercation between two middle school students in Tripoli ended with both injured—one seriously and now in intensive care. The attack, caught on video, has shocked the community.

A violent confrontation between two middle school students in the Greek city of Tripoli has left both teenagers injured—one of them seriously—after they stabbed each other with a knife during an argument that spiraled out of control.

According to reports, the incident occurred shortly after school ended, when the two boys began fighting over an unresolved dispute. The confrontation quickly escalated, and one of them allegedly pulled out a knife, stabbing his classmate multiple times in the neck, shoulder, and back.

One Teen in Intensive Care

The seriously injured boy, whose father described the attack as “brutal,” was rushed to Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital in Athens, where he underwent emergency treatment and remains in intensive care in stable condition.

“He kept stabbing him again and again,” the boy’s father said. “He came out to the street covered in blood, begging for help. It was a miracle he survived—just a millimeter away from his carotid artery.”

The second teenager, who was also injured in the hand during the altercation, was treated at Tripoli General Hospital and later discharged.

Authorities Investigating

Local police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which has reignited public concern about the rise in youth violence in Greece.

According to the father of the other teenager, “Both boys ended up using the knife—first one, then the other.” Authorities are expected to review video footage of the incident, which reportedly captured the moment of the attack and the victim’s screams for help echoing through the neighborhood.
