Greek football champions Olympiacos Piraeus were drawn to will play against German Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League competition in the knock out phase.

The Reds secured a place in the playoff round of the Champions League after a historic 2-1 away victory over Ajax in Amsterdam, booking their spot among the final 24 teams of Europe’s top club competition.

The Greek champions hold the upper hand in their head to head against the German team, having won two of their three previous encounters. The most recent victory came in the league phase of this season’s Champion’s League when the Greek club came on top with 2-0.

The first legs of the playoffs will be played on February 17 or 18, 2026 at Piraeus, with the return matches scheduled for February 24 or 25, 2026. The winners will claim one of the eight remaining places in the round of 16.
