As the conflict in the Middle East drags on, mounting challenges and safety concerns are increasingly affecting cruise operations, placing thousands of passengers at potential risk. Cruise lines are now being forced to adjust their schedules, with some opting to cancel voyages altogether—including Celestyal.
The company, closely monitoring developments in the region, announced that it is acting in full coordination with relevant authorities. As part of these precautionary measures, Celestyal is delaying the repositioning of its vessels Celestyal Discovery and Celestyal Journey ahead of their planned
Mediterranean itineraries.
In an official statement, the company confirmed the cancellation of the following cruises:
• April 4: 7-night “Panorama of Greece, Italy, Croatia” aboard Celestyal Journey
• April 4: 14-night “Mediterranean Icons” aboard Celestyal Journey
• April 6: 4-night “Iconic Greek Islands” aboard Celestyal Discovery
Passengers affected by these cancellations will be offered a choice between a full refund or a credit toward a future cruise.
Celestyal has advised customers to contact their travel agents or booking providers for further information regarding their options and next steps, as the company continues to prioritize passenger safety amid ongoing regional instability.
