Weather in Greece today will be marked by higher than normal temperatures, partial cloud cover, and scattered showers in different regions of the country.
Specifically, temperatures are on average 4-5 degrees Celsius higher than normal with Crete, Rhodes and several islands in the southeast of Greece expecting to reach 20 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures in Athens will range from 9 to 19 degrees and in Thessaloniki from 6 to 16 degrees.
Showers are expected up the western coast of the country and in the northeast region of Thraki while the rest of the country will be partially cloudy.
By the afternoon gentle southerlies will be seen ranging from 3-4 Beaufort throughout Greece with the exception of a small portion of the Aegean which may see winds as strong as 6 Beaufort.
