Greece’s culture ministry on Thursday launched a new online platform for users interested in exploring museums, monuments and archaeological sites across the eastern Mediterranean country, called “Hellenic Heritage”, www.hh.gr
The platform was presented by the Hellenic Organization of Cultural Resources Development (ODAP) and includes information on more than 350 archaeological sites, museums, and monuments in the country, along with e-ticketing to sites and museums and other services.
The project was funded by the Resilience and Recovery Fund through the NextGenerationEU scheme and its implementation was supervised by the culture ministry.

The digital platform for e-ticketing and membership cards will be fully operational in April 2026. After its completion, all cultural sites in Greece will operate uniformly in digital manner, with the aim being improving accessibility, public revenues and promoting the country abroad.
The platformed was in the presence of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Culture Minister Lina Mendoni at the National Gallery of Art.

Mitsotakis called Hellenic Heritage an emblematic project that will allow visitors to “travel in time” and visit the country in a virtual manner.
Mendoni said the project was budgeted at more than 27 million euros and was part of an overall upgrade of ODAP infrastructure – physical and digital – to the tune of more than 55 million euros, with an additional 10 million euros provided by ODAP itself.
