Yorgos Lanthimos Picks Up 4 Oscar Nominations With ‘Bugonia’

Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos has picked up four nominations for his film “Bugonia”, including best picture and best actress in a leading role by his muse, Ema Stone. The nominations for the 89th Academy Awards were announced earlier on Thursday.

Bugonia was also nominated for Best Original Score by Jerskin Fendrix and Best Adapted Screenplay.

The 98th Academy Awards will be hosted live from the Dolby Theatre by Conan O’Brien, which will air on ABC and stream on Hulu.
