AADE Temporarily Halts Registry Services for EU Code Alignment

The transition will take place from March 1 to March 10, 2026, with full functionality of the digital services being restored once the process has been completed.

Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) will proceed with the automated alignment of Business Activity Codes (KAD) in order to ensure full compliance with new European statistical standards. The transition will take place from March 1 to March 10, 2026.

During this period, the Registry’s digital applications will be temporarily suspended. As a result, users will not be able to submit requests for:

• Business start-ups
• Amendments to business details
• Termination of business activities
• Changes to personal information
• Changes of residential address

Full functionality of the digital services will be restored once the data migration process has been completed.

For further clarification and information regarding the procedure, interested parties may contact AADE’s Taxpayer Service Center, my1521:

• By phone: Dial 1521 (toll-free), Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Online: Via the my1521 platform (available 24/7).
