Airbnb: Active Listings in Greece up 20% Since 2019

The Airbnb short-term leasing platform continues to record significant growth in the Greek market, with demand for such listed lodgings expected to continuing breaking annual records in the country.

According to figures supplied last week by AirDNA, the number of active listings for Greece increased by from roughly 102,000 in 2019 to 122,000 in 2024, up by 20% over the five-year period, and by 9% alone between 2023 and 2024.

The overall short-term lease market in Europe also points to signs of continued growth, both in terms of revenue and number of visitor arrivals.
