Ruling New Democracy (ND) party is marginally down in a latest poll by the Alco firm, compared to results by the same company last month, losing less than a percentage point.
Without an extrapolation of the results (of valid responses), center-right ND is shown with an 11.60-percentage point lead over its nearest rival.
Specifically, ND is polled at 23.3%, compared to 24% last month. Main opposition PASOK follows with 11.7%, compared to 11.5%.
Lesser opposition parties are also shown as “slipping” in the latest poll and unable to capitalize on ND’s stagnating numbers.
The most noteworthy result is a significant increase in the number of respondents who said they were “undecided”, most of whom are assessed to be in the right or center-right political spectrum. This figure reached 21.5%, up by 2.5 percentage points in a month.
