According to Greek government sources, while there is currently no convergence on launching discussions to resolve what Athens describes as the sole dispute between Greece and Turkey that could be brought before international jurisdiction — namely the delimitation of the continental shelf and the Exclusive Economic Zone in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean — Athens is looking toward a constructive discussion and the preservation of a climate of calm in bilateral relations.
