Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with US President Joe Biden at the White House in April, the US Ambassador to Greece, George Tsunis, revealed at the City Hub during the “East Macedonia & Thrace Forum II” in Alexandroupolis on Wednesday.

The US ambassador to Greece participated in the “city hub events” conference and disclosed that the two leaders would meet on April 4.

The meeting will take place in Washington D.C. at the White House as part of an event organized for the celebration of the 1821 Greek Revolution, which the Greek prime minister will also attend. His previous meeting with Biden was on May 17, 2022.

According to sources, the agenda of the meeting is expected to address bilateral issues, including, among others, defense cooperation, energy and the strategic partnership between Greece and the United States. Additionally, the issue of Ukraine will be discussed, as well as developments in the Middle East, and of course, Greek-Turkish relations.
