Panama’s President José Raúl Mulino Quintero will pay an official visit to Greece from June 1 to June 6, accompanied by First Lady Maricel Cohen de Mulino.
The visit comes at the invitation of Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas and is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. Maritime cooperation is also expected to feature prominently on the agenda due to the international Posidonia shipping exhibition taking place in Athens.
According to the official schedule released by the Greek Presidency, the Panamanian president will arrive in Athens on Monday, June 1. Later that day, he will attend the inauguration of Panama’s pavilion at the Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition.

On Tuesday, June 2, Mulino will participate in an official wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier before attending a formal welcome ceremony at the Presidential Mansion.
The program also includes a private meeting with President Tasoulas, followed by expanded talks between the two delegations and an official exchange of honors. A state lunch hosted by the Greek president and First Lady Fani Stathopoulou will follow.
Later the same day, Mulino is scheduled to meet Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion. Expanded discussions between government delegations are also planned.
The Panamanian president will additionally visit the facilities of Tsakos Shipping and Trading as part of the maritime-focused segment of the trip.
The official visit is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, June 6, with the delegation departing Greece in the morning.
