Authorities have announced temporary traffic restrictions on Attiki Odos, Athens’ main ring road, due to heavy maintenance work on the Fyli Bridge near the Fyli Interchange (Exit 6).
The closures will affect only the eastbound lanes toward Athens Airport and Markopoulo during the following night hours:
- Monday, March 9, 2026, 22:00 – Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 05:00
- Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 22:00 – Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 05:00
During the closures, drivers heading to the airport or Markopoulo will be detoured via the Fyli Interchange exit (Exit 6) and must re-enter the highway at the same interchange to continue their journey.
Authorities advise motorists to plan ahead, follow detour signs, and allow extra travel time during the affected hours.
