Greece’s Christmas and New Year holiday season has once again filled the country’s most popular live music venues, with major bouzoukia clubs in Athens and Thessaloniki reporting sold-out dates and sharply increased prices for festive nights.
According to local media reports, many of the biggest venues hosting Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve events are already fully booked, leaving little to no availability even for standing spots. Demand is particularly high for front-row tables, where minimum spending requirements can reach up to €5,000 for groups of four people.
The festive period traditionally brings higher prices, but this year the cost of entertainment has climbed significantly, especially for premium seating and high-end bottle service. Despite the steep prices, interest remains strong, with only limited availability at select venues and on specific dates, sometimes restricted to drink-only options.
Several leading performers are completely sold out throughout the holiday period. Other popular artists still have limited availability for New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day performances, while a small number of venues offer more flexibility compared to the busiest clubs.

The highest minimum charges for front tables—around €5,000—are reported at some of the most in-demand shows. At other top venues, front-row seating is slightly cheaper but still commands several thousand euros per table. More affordable seating options had been available earlier but are now fully booked.
