Patients were evacuated from the Metropolitan Hospital of Holargos, a suburb in Athens, after a fire broke out on Monday. Firefighters rushed to the scene as the flames reportedly spread from an area containing a diesel fuel tank, authorities said.
The patients have reportedly been transferred to the hospital’s courtyard, where they are safe. The fire has reportedly been extinguished.
