Last month, Greek authorities arrested a man from Azerbaijan for photographing military facilities at the Souda Bay base in Crete.

Four Asian individuals were taken into custody on Wednesday after they were reportedly taking photographs of Rafale fighter jets and facilities of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry near the town of Tanagra in the north of Athens.

After being detected by the security of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, the suspects were instructed to leave the area. They complied but continued taking photos of the Rafale aircraft from under a nearby bridge.

The individuals were subsequently apprehended by the 114th Combat Wing air base security forces, who escorted them to the Tanagra police station. According to reports, they had captured a sizeable number of photos.
