Greece Schedules €70.5M in Social Payments This Week

Nearly 94,000 recipients will receive funds from e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service, covering pensions, unemployment benefits, maternity leave, and subsidized employment programs by Friday, February 13, 2026

The Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that a total of €70.5 million will be distributed to 93,900 beneficiaries this week, with payments scheduled from Monday through Friday, February 13, 2026. The funds will be deposited directly into recipients’ bank accounts as part of the planned disbursements by e-EFKA (the social security agency) and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

According to the ministry:

  • e-EFKA will issue €19 million to 900 recipients for lump-sum payments following recent official decisions.
  • DYPA will distribute:
    • €26 million to 43,000 beneficiaries for unemployment and other social benefits,
    • €4 million to 6,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave,
    • €20 million to 19,000 recipients participating in subsidized employment programs, and
    • €1.5 million to 25,000 beneficiaries involved in community service programs.
