Greece’s Food Safety Authority (EFET) recalled the MILKEO PLUS milk preparation device, following an alert from the product’s foreign manufacturer, BEABA.
The recall was filed by Greek distributor Breton with EFET’s Attica Regional Directorate. The reason cited is a software non-compliance issue that may result in an incorrect amount of milk powder being dispensed by the device.
The product is sold primarily through Lapin House retail stores.
Consumers who have purchased a MILKEO PLUS device are urged to check whether their unit is affected by consulting the serial number guidance posted on the manufacturer’s website at lapinkids.com. Instructions on how to return the product to the store are also available at the same address.
