Greek Teen Dies After Fall From Third-Floor Balcony

A tragic incident occurred on Friday in Pyrgos, where an 18-year-old high school student died after falling from a third-floor balcony of an apartment building.

The young man was found severely injured in the courtyard area of the building on Manolopoulou Street. Neighbors who discovered him immediately called emergency services and attempted to provide first aid until help arrived.

Emergency Response

According to witnesses, a local resident and a pediatrician who happened to be nearby tried to resuscitate the teenager. Their efforts briefly succeeded in restoring his breathing before paramedics arrived.

An ambulance from the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB) transported the student to the hospital in Pyrgos, where doctors made extensive efforts to save his life. Despite their attempts, he later died from his severe injuries.
