Hellenic Military Academy Holds Winter Training with Allies

Greece’s Hellenic Military Academy completed a winter training program with international cadets, including participants from Armenia, Bulgaria, Korea, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Romania, featuring survival, combat drills, and joint exercises with special forces and army aviation units

The Hellenic Military Academy (Military Academy of Evelpidon) successfully concluded its winter training program on February 13, 2026, which had started on February 2. The exercises were conducted on Mount Hymettus and at the Mountain Warfare Training Center for Ski Troops (KEOAX).

The program included a total of 27 international cadets from Armenia, Bulgaria, South Korea, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Romania. Training activities included small-unit tactical exercises, rapid-response combat drills, live-fire sessions with individual and heavy weapons, and survival skills training.

In addition to cadet training, the exercises featured joint sessions with personnel from the Hellenic Special Warfare Command (Special Warfare Command) and the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “Kilkis-Lahana” (1st Army Aviation Brigade), providing participants with experience in coordinated operations and specialized military techniques.
