A 50-year-old man in Koropi, Greece, is facing attempted murder charges after severely beating his 40-year-old wife. The attack also involved physical harm to one of their children, authorities confirmed.
The woman remains in critical condition, intubated at the Red Cross Hospital, while her husband appeared before the prosecutor without legal representation. A judge will oversee his case during the upcoming hearings.

The youngest child, 4 years old, who witnessed the assault, told police, “Dad hit mommy,” revealing the truth despite the father’s attempts to mislead authorities. After attacking his wife, the man reportedly called emergency services claiming he had found her badly injured at home.
