A 60-year-old man was found dead early Tuesday morning at the port of Milina, a coastal area near the city of Volos, in the Pagasetic Gulf. The man’s body was discovered in the sea near an inflatable boat anchored in the area known as “En Plo.”

The lifeless body was spotted around 6 a.m. by a local fisherman, who immediately alerted the authorities. Witnesses attempted to revive the man using CPR while waiting for emergency services, but efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

According to reports, the man had a visible head injury. The exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and the Hellenic Coast Guard is investigating all possible scenarios, including the possibility of an accident or foul play.

The deceased was a permanent resident of the town of Edessa and was in Milina on vacation at the time of the incident.
