The child reportedly took the medication after being dared by a classmate. He was admitted to the General Hospital of Agrinio, where he is currently receiving care. Officials have confirmed that the boy’s life is not in danger.
The case is under investigation by the Subdivision for the Investigation and Prosecution of Crimes. Authorities have arrested the boy’s mother, charging her with neglect of a minor and causing bodily harm to a child.
