Cloudy skies with rain and localized thunderstorms are expected across parts of Greece on Friday, mainly affecting the Ionian Sea, western mainland regions, Crete and the eastern Aegean. Some storms may produce hail in isolated areas. Conditions are expected to gradually improve from the afternoon onward in most parts of the country.
Strong winds over the Aegean and Ionian Seas will generally blow from the west, with southern maritime areas possibly experiencing temporary gusts. These conditions may lead to rough seas, particularly affecting ferry routes.
