The holiday season has officially begun, and stores are preparing for hordes of Christmas shoppers looking for the perfect gift.
To help with the frantic last minute shopping, stores will be open Sunday on both Christmas and New Year’s eve, as well as on the 17th of the month. Businesses can open any time between 11AM and 8PM on the first two Sundays and between 9AM and 6PM on the 31st.
December is a crucial month for businesses, as stores achieve one-fourth of their annual turnover over these few weeks. For toy stores specifically, that figure can reached as high as 40 percent, given that Santa also prepares himself for his annual sleighride.
