New details have emerged regarding the travel of 16-year-old Laura, who recently flew alone from Greece to Germany. According to eyewitness accounts, Laura carried a written authorization signed by her mother, which legally allowed her to travel unaccompanied.
A passenger on the same flight to Frankfurt described the scene at the airport check-in. “She was in front of me at the desk, disputing with the staff who were checking her ticket,” the witness told Live News. “She had a copy of a note signed by her mother. The staff member couldn’t make a decision herself and waited for a supervisor. The supervisor checked and said, ‘If it has the mother’s signature, it’s valid.’ She was then allowed to board.”
The witness added that the boarding process went smoothly once the note was verified, with the airline staff confirming everything was in order.
Authorities had been tracking the teenager’s movements, and her father later confirmed that she had flown to Germany. He personally contacted the airline, which verified her departure to Frankfurt due to his first-degree relationship with Laura.
