The victim, a known drug user, was found in a makeshift shelter in the Old Tannery area of Kaminia, where he and others had sought refuge. According to police reports, the 40-year-old was left without help after being injured during the altercation. Two additional suspects—a 47-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman—face charges for neglecting to assist the victim.

Police investigations indicate the incident occurred during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Officers arriving at the scene noted two visible stab wounds, one high on the neck and another on the left chest, likely caused by a small knife. The area contained discarded mattresses, trash, and drug paraphernalia, suggesting a chaotic environment prior to the fatal attack.

Authorities report that the dispute began during a gathering at the shelter the previous night, attended by the victim’s friends. The argument reportedly escalated over the victim’s current partner, leading to multiple blows and ultimately the fatal stabbing to the leg.

The three suspects are expected to appear before the public prosecutor as the investigation continues.
