An extraordinary family coincidence has captured attention in Greece after two sisters gave birth to healthy baby boys on the very same day—whose newborns also shared exactly the same birth weight.
The remarkable story was shared on social media by Patras-based obstetrician and gynecologist Eva Mavrommati, who cared for both women throughout their pregnancies.
According to the doctor, the sisters became pregnant just a few days apart. As their pregnancies progressed, they ultimately welcomed their sons on the same date.
What made the event even more unusual was that both babies weighed 2,810 grams at birth.
According to local media, Mavrommati described the coincidence as “unique,” saying it is a moment that will forever connect the two families.
In her social media post, the doctor also expressed her gratitude for the trust the sisters placed in her during such an important and personal milestone, describing the experience as a truly special one.
