Later in the day, localized showers will continue in Thrace, central and eastern Macedonia, Thessaly, western Central Greece, northwestern Peloponnese, and the eastern Aegean islands.
Temperatures will remain high for the season, particularly in the south and Crete. Western Macedonia will range from 8°C to 18°C, while the rest of Macedonia and Thrace will see 12°C to 23°C. Thessaly will be warmer, reaching up to 27°C. In Epirus and western Central Greece, temperatures will range between 11°C and 21°C, and in the rest of Central Greece and the Peloponnese from 11°C to 26°C. The Ionian Islands will see 12°C to 21°C, the northern and eastern Aegean islands 15°C to 25°C, the Cyclades 18°C to 27°C, the Dodecanese 15°C to 24°C, and Crete will be the warmest region, with highs reaching 34°C. Notably, in northern and western Greece, the lowest temperatures will occur late in the day.
Winds in the Aegean will start from the south at 4 to 6 Beaufort, locally reaching 7 Beaufort, before shifting to westerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort by evening. In the Dodecanese, southern winds of 3 to 5 Beaufort will persist. In the Ionian, winds will begin southerly at 3 to 5 Beaufort but turn northwesterly from the morning onward.
In Athens, sunny conditions will prevail, with occasional clouds. Winds will blow from the southwest at 3 to 5 Beaufort, shifting to the northwest later in the day. Temperatures in the city center will range from 17°C to 26°C.
In Thessaloniki, cloudy skies and local showers are expected until midday, followed by clearer conditions. Winds will initially be light and variable, later turning northerly at 2 to 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 16°C to 21°C, with the minimum expected late in the day.
