A specialized unit from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department (TEEM) quickly arrived, secured the area, and retrieved several military-grade objects.

Among the items confiscated were:

  • Two heavily corroded grenade release levers
  • One defensive grenade with a firing mechanism
  • Ten mortar warhead tips and related components
  • Ammunition rounds
  • A disassembled pistol
  • Firearm parts
  • Three revolver frames
  • A Thompson submachine gun frame
  • Another unidentified machine gun
  • Brass knuckles

  • Extendable batons
  • Ammunition holders
  • Weapon bolts

The recovered items were transported to forensic laboratories for further examination. Authorities are also reviewing security camera footage in the area to determine how the weapons ended up in the bin and identify who may have tried to discard them.
