Greece will have some scattered showers in the west and northern parts of the country, as well as in the eastern Aegean, the latter of which will clear up by midday.

Skies will also have their blue hue as the African dust has left the atmosphere.  Other regions may have some local clouds but they will not develop into rain.

Temperatures have come off their highs of the start of the week and will continually drop every day for the next few days. Highs will reach 20 degrees Celsius around noontime in the west, 22 degrees in the north, 24 degrees in the eastern mainland and 20 – 24 degrees Celsius in the Aegean islands.

The seas in the south will have the highest winds, which will reach up to 7 Beaufort and come from the west- southwest.  Meanwhile, winds in the Ionian will be westerly reaching 5 – 6 Beaufort and, in the Aegean, they will be west-southwest 4 – 6 Beaufort.

In Attica, the weather will be clear, with sun and thin clouds and temperatures between 14 – 23 degrees Celsius and the winds west southwest, 4 – 5 Beaufort.

Thessaloniki will start off sunny but, being the generally exception for Greece today, will get cloudy in the afternoon and may see some light rains. The temperature will range from 12 – 21 degrees Celsius, with northerly winds in Thermaikos 3 – 5 Beaufort.
