Today the weather across Greece will be generally sunny with some clouds forming from midday in the region of Thrace and throughout the Aegean, the Cyclades and Crete. There is also a chance of light rain in Thrace and northern Crete.
The temperature will rise slightly in the north and in the Dodecanese to 26 degrees, but the western regions of Greece will be even higher, hitting between 28 – 29 Celsius.
The Aegean should expect to be cooler on account of strong northerly winds which will be as strong as 8 Beaufort. Winds in the Ionian will be north-east at a moderate 3 – 5 Beaufort.
Clear weather is forecast in Attica, with sunshine during the day and thin clouds at night. The temperature will range from 15 – 25 degrees, in the east to 22, with very strong northerly winds of 6 – 7 Beaufort.
Thessaloniki will also be sunny with the temperatures ranging between 14 – 25 degrees, and variable winds between 2 – 3 Beaufort which will change to southerlies from noon.
